​Photography has always been the art form that democratizes the image. NYC Salt is carrying that tradition forward.

​On Saturday and Sunday during the AIPAD Photography Show, current NYC Salt high school students take over the camera at the portrait booth on the balcony overlooking the fair. These are young photographers in the middle of their training: curious, and ready to make pictures. 

​Sitting for a portrait with them is not just a fair moment. It is the mission made visible.

​Every guest who sits for a portrait will receive a print on the spot, and a custom retouched Vivid Metal Print mailed to their home after the fair, produced through our partnership with Vivid Metal Prints.

​On Saturday and Sunday, April 25 & 26, during fair hours, we will be located in the balcony above the fair at the Park Avenue Armory.
