Malike Sidibe (b. 1997) is a West African photographer based in New York City. Born in Côte d'Ivoire, raised partly in Guinea, and arriving in NYC at age 13, his multicultural background and early immigrant experience deeply inform his visual storytelling. It was in New York that he first picked up a camera—an act that would lead him down a path toward artistic recognition and eventually, the prestigious title of Nikon Ambassador.
Initially studying menswear design, Sidibe soon discovered that his true passion was capturing people in clothes, not creating them. His imagery is vibrant, dreamlike, and soulful—often inspired by the people he meets and the environments he moves through.
His commercial and editorial clients include Amazon Prime, Nike, Adidas, Puma, The New York Times Magazine, The New Yorker, New York Magazine, Time, Town & Country, Broadway, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Telegraph, and many others. Whether he's shooting high fashion or personal portraits, Sidibe aims to make the world a little more interesting, one photo at a time.
