NYC Salt is partnering with Blow Up Gallery to exhibit photographs from two NYC emerging Artists, Malike Sidibe and Daniel Martinez.
The theme of the show is Dancing With Light and it features 44 images on banners surrounding and on the inside pf the park. The work is by our high school students portfolios. We will have several professional photographers with small studios set up for portraits and also student led tours that you can sign up for. In collaboration with Hudson River Park, NYC SALT is excited to present the work by our alumni who participated in our emerging artist program this past year. They capture vibrant, dynamic communities in their own distinct voice, inviting you on a visual journey, revealing the cultural consciousness of the world that surrounds them. This outdoor exhibition celebrates and showcases their fascination for discovery, play, and documenting visual histories.
In collaboration with B&A Reps and their artists, we have a beautiful selection of photographs and illustrations that have been donated to benefit our high school photographs and college prep programs.
All prints are signed by the artist and sized at either 11x14 or 16x20. Brooklyn Editions, a museum quality fine-art printer in NYC, will be handling all print orders. Prints will be printed on an archival museum quality paper.

The arts are more necessary than ever and this is a great way for you to support our students and buy gifts for the holidays.
Throughout March, four premier ad agencies will host the exhibition to showcase six graduates of SALT’s visual arts program and a group of advertising community photographers to encourage inclusion and diversity in the creative community. Each agency will host the exhibition for a week kicked off by reception. Following the exhibition, the ad agency will continue to work with the artists, providing projects and mentorship.
Come experience the art, hear from young talent and be inspired. There will be refreshments, a brief program and a photo booth. The event is free, and you will have the opportunity to purchase prints. Contributions to NYC Salt allow us to achieve our mission of engaging, inspiring, and empowering underserved youth in New York City to reach their full potential through photography, video and an understanding of the visual industry.
All proceeds from the print sales at the show will support NYC Salt's arts education and college-preparatory programming.

Join NYC Salt for a special series of print sales in celebration of our 11th year! We have asked 11 world-renowned photographers to donate a single image that will be an edition of 11, printed on 8.5x11” paper, to be sold for $111. Take advantage of this fabulous opportunity to own a classic image by 11 of the best photographer’s creating visual content today. All work can also be purchased framed for $150.
A special selection of work by our students will also be for sale for $50 unframed and $100 framed.

Join us in celebrating the culmination of NYC Salt students, Christian Restrepo, Gisele Placeres, and Grace McNally's photographic journey in Japan. The students were chosen to represent the US in a photo competition and were sent to Japan for 10 days on full scholarship. Our exhibition will feature specially curated collections of work produced while competing in Higashikawa, Japan's fifth annual Youth Fest. Come hear the experiences, anecdotes and insights from both students and facilitator/mentor Michal Kaminski.
