| Alicia Hansen : Executive Director & Founder Alicia has worked professionally as a photographer for the past 17 years. She has a bachelors in Journalism and a Masters in Visual Communication from Syracuse University. She started her career as a staff photographer for The Atlanta Journal Constitution and worked for several papers all over the US before coming to NYC. She assisted for Joe McNally for two years before starting her own freelance business in Manhattan. Currently, she serves editorial, corporate and advertising clients. www.aliciahansen.com Adam Chinitz : Board Member & Program Director Adam Chinitz is nationally recognized for his ability to illuminate his subjects from the inside out. He combines decades of experience with world-class technology, infusing his work with the sensibility of pioneering photographers, such as Richard Avedon, Ansel Adams and Baron Adolph de Meyer. Paying meticulous attention to detail, and with a gift for engaging his clients, Adam brings humor and playfulness to his work. As a specialist in still life, architecture, luxury goods and portraiture, Adam has traveled the world – Greece, Mexico, Martinique, Guadalupe -- chasing goats from helicopters, scuba diving in shark-infested waters and working as a still photographer on movie sets. He works closely with clients to find elegant solutions that tell each story in an unforgettable way. Adam is a teacher and Board member of NYC SALT, a nonprofit photography organization designed to engage, inspire and empower New York City’s underprivileged teenagers. Newhouse School of Public Communications and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. www.chinitz.com Sari Goodfriend: Teaching Photographer Sari Goodfriend was born and raised in New York City and is a commercial and fine art photographer. She shoots for magazines, corporations and non-profits, specializing in portraiture and food photography. Sari is the Secretary and a long-time Board Member of the Advertising Photographers of America (NY Chapter) and is active in the NYC photo community where she curates an ongoing photography lecture series at the SoHo Apple Store. She loves helping NYCSalt students shoot and edit their photos. www.sarigoodfriend.com Benjamin Norman: Teaching Photographer Benjamin Norman is an editorial/commercial photographer and multimedia shooter based in New York City. While finishing his degree in Economic Policy at NYU, he undertook an internship with Pulitzer-Prize winning photographer/director Vincent Laforet, and has been working for a range of clients ever since. He spends most of his days shooting for editorial publications like The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, but has also been sent on assignment for The New York Times Magazine, among others. His work has been recognized by American Photography, POYi, the NYPH, the NYPPA, and the Hearst Corp. www.benjaminnorman.com Kevin Goggin : Teaching Photographer Kevin Goggin, a New York City based photographer, has been working in the field of photography for over 15 years. He has a BS in Studio Art from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY and a MFA in Photography from the School of Visual Art in New York City. Kevin has done Fashion and Editorial Photography work for such clients as: Reebok, Footwear+, Fast Company Magazine, Earnshaw’s, Travel Weekly, Nightclub and Bar, Wilson Leathers, Timberland, as well as other bands and boutiques. He has also done Digital Retouching work for a number of national and international clients including: BMW, Mercedes, Condé Nast, Saab, Volkswagen, K-Mart, Shell Oil, Target, Asics, Michelin, Jaguar and was in charge of digital production on several books and (Here is New York, a democracy of photographs, In the Stilllife, and In the Realm of the Circuit.)
