NYC Salt Fall Retreat For the past two years, thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we have been taking our class of young resident photographers to the Frost Valley YMCA Camp for a weekend of team building and fun! Last time, they played games, zip-lined, went on a giant swing, a high ropes course and hiked to a waterfall. The purpose of the trip is to create stronger relationships between the kids, and between the kids and their mentors. We did some light painting at night and roasted marshmallows around a big bonfire. It is always an incredible weekend, thank you for making this possible!

Meet Our New 2016

We have 11 new students this year plus 8 students returning from last year. Once students are selected for our residency program, they have the ability to stay until graduation. We select students through a rigorous application process for young people who aspire to have careers in the communication arts. The program is designed to help students build award-winning portfolios and prepare them for college. Congratulations to the following students:

I use photography as my guide to discover myself as an individual with my own perspective and creativity.  —Randy
